Hi, everyone, meet Sen. Prescott Bush (1895-1972). He was mentioned on our show this week because a caller painted him as a funder of Nazi Germany a supporter of Operation Paperclip, which brought Nazi scientists to America, and Andy mentioned Bush in connection with the alleged Business Plot, which Andy got wrong as the Smithers Plot, although it involved Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler. Andy finds the connections attenuated at best, but that’s just me.
Also, Dave Emory’s show about the “Underground Reich” is now on WFMU Mondays at 8pm, not Tuesdays. Sorry.
