I’m not a monster. I’m just like you. Sure, I have a hideous appearance and an uncontrollable capacity for destruction. I may be  selfish, slimy, ill-mannered, drunk, behorned, and a phone-number interrupter. But, c’mon, isn’t everyone a monster in one way or another. Aren’t you?
